Gemma's bedroom at her babysitter's house

I returned to work yesterday. I had a good first day...it feels good to be back. Everyone was so nice welcoming me back to work. I miss Gemma so much, but I know shes in wonderful hands which gets me through the day. Yesterday was her first day going to the babysitters house. She always seems content there. Diana said she was the perfect baby yesterday... no fussing or anything! Thats because she is perfect ; ) She has her very own room there. Its so cute! Gemma's so spoiled, already has 2 bedrooms to call her own. Gemma is the only child Diana is watching so Gemma gets all of the attention she wants, which we love. Now Ive just got to get used to this new routine... I'm so sleepy.

Little Trooper

Gemma got her 1st round of shots yesterday. I didnt like watching her get stuck with 3 needles, but it has to be done. She cried, but then fell right to sleep. We got home, she ate and smiled and played. I was happy she was feeling alright... but then after her nap she woke up and seemed like the shots kicked in. It made me sad because she was so upset and I guess was hurting :( I gave her some medicine, then she was fine and has been fine ever since. Shes a little trooper! She now weights 8 lbs 10 inches and also grew an inch in length. The Dr says she looks great and all is perfect.

I colored my OWN hair for the first time ever. I was bored and needed a change, plus low on the cash flow. I think I did a good job! Mom- I know you like my hair better blonde... :) love you& miss you.

Gemma slept 8.5 hours straight last night. We were thrilled! Usually she sleeps 4 hours, eats and then 6 hours; which we were completely ok with because we were getting more sleep than expected. She's great!

This morning Gemma smiled when I was talking to her and rubbed my finger down her nose... it actually wasnt because of gas this time, however I didnt catch it on camera. But then this afternoon I did it again and caught it on camera. Too cute!!!
